FRANK`S SMOKED PORK BALLS

WARNING!!

THE ONLY HEALTHY ITEMS ON THE PLATE IS THE SALAD!!!

THIS RECIPE WAS INSPIRED BY TED READER, WHEN HE WAS ON BT.
YEILD: 15 BALLS
 
INGREDIENTS:
PORK MIX
·        4 LBS OF GROUND PORK
·        BREAD CRUMBS
·        1 EGG BEATEN
·        CHOPPED SWEET BASIL
·        GROUND OREGANO
·        GRATED PARMESAN & ROMANO CHEESE
·        MY SPICE RUB
·        MY BBQ SAUCE
·        BLEND IT ALL TOGETHER & LET IT SIT IN THE FRIDGE FOR A COUPLE HOURS
MILD ITALIAN SAUSAGE CUT INTO 3RD`S
15 STRIPS OF BACON
SO, WITH EACH PCE OF SAUSAGE YOU ROLL IT UP WITH A SLICE OF BACON. YOU DO THIS WITH ALL 15 PCES.
YOU TAKE THE PORK MIX & CREATE 15 BALLS, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL. THEN YOU FLATTEN ONE, PUT THE SAUSAGE & BACON ROLL IN THE CENTRE, THEN RE-CREATE THE BALL
I THEN PLACED THEM ON PLANKS IN MY SMOKER.
LET THEM SMOKE FOR 2 HOURS @ 250-275, THEN TURNED THEM OVER & LET THEM SMOKE FOR ANOTHER HOUR. AFTER THE 3RD HOUR I BASTED THEM WITH MY SAUCE, & LET THEM SMOKE FOR ANOTHER HOUR. TURNED THEM & BASTED AGAIN...ONE MORE HOUR OF SMOKING & THEY`RE DONE!!!
